From 24th July through to the end of August, our Sunday pattern at All Souls changes.

The biggest difference is no afternoon service (4.30pm) – we have the 10.30am service only.

We will be preaching through six of the Psalms – including Ps 130 (July 24th) and Ps 51 (31st) – as well as welcoming some visiting preachers including Ali Mathew and Ron Bushyager.

We also have more basic children’s group provision, giving our usual hard-working volunteer teams the summer off and instead providing:

  • Crèche – our dedicated room for parents with babies and toddlers will continue to be open and in use, but there won’t be a team to set-up/run it.
  • Pre-schoolers and Nursery – we will have a play area set up with toys and art materials, but as a self-help area. Parents will need to either stay with their child or ensure another adult is taking responsibility.
  • Primary age – there will be a video time each week, with one leader on a rota to introduce and run the video, but parents will be asked to help one another provide cover for adult:child ratios to be appropriate.

During these Sundays, we will have a slightly shorter service, with adults and children together for half-an-hour in the first half of the service and in their own groups for the second-half.
