“Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise… they saw that the stone had been rolled away.” Mark 16
Sunrise promises a new day, as dawn brings an end to the darkness of night. Even the sunniest of lives has moments when we long for a hopeful sign of a better tomorrow.
Easter sets the darkness of Jesus’ death alongside the dawning hope of his resurrection. It declares possible a fresh start with God for us, for our children and for our communities.
Come and enjoy a messy and creative Palm Sunday (April 13th), the quietness of Maundy Thursday Communion (17th), the Good Friday (18th) service for all ages with hot cross buns afterwards, and then the fun and celebration of Easter Day (20th), preceded by breakfast pastries.
