Life Groups – Autumn Term 2018

Faith needs space if it’s to grow. In All Souls, we run Life Groups each term to help give exactly that. They’re short, informal courses looking at anything from prayer to parenting, from discipleship to the big questions of belief. There are five running this term – read the summaries below and click through for more information about dates and to book online. Any questions, contact the church office.

Praying with Paul

Paul’s letters in the Bible are intensely personal and full of his love for God and for others. What he knows of God and how he cares for others regularly spills out into richly passionate prayers. David & Davina lead five evening studies exploring some of these remarkable prayers – and how they help us know God and teach us to pray for ourselves.

Parenting for Faith

Parenting for Faith is a really accessible and practical video-based course that aims to to help parents discover that they are perfectly positioned, and able, to show their children the reality of a life with God and to empower them to have their own vibrant two-way relationship with him.

Journaling the Bible

Bible Art Journalling is not just for those who feel they can draw… I am definitely no artist. It is a different way of connecting with God through the Bible. We read a chapter, few verses slowly, read it again spend time reflecting on it and what touches us then illustrate it, in whatever way you want…use of paints, stencils, pretty tape, pencils – whatever…I have found this an amazing way to encounter God in His word. It’s not about great art but about spending time in the Word and with Jesus.

Thursdays alternate weeks starting on 11th October
